Continuing to kick off the Compass lineup in the 2023 model year is the Sport trim. Under the hood of the Compass Sport, you'll find a 200-horsepower 2.0L turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine. Using an eight-speed automatic transmission, the new turbocharged engine powers Jeep's Active Drive 4x4 system for superior on and off-road performance. Looking at the Compass Sport's exterior, you'll find 17-inch alloy wheels, black side mirror housings, a black grille with chrome surrounds, remote keyless entry, LED taillights, LED headlights, and heated/power-adjustable side mirrors. Meanwhile, when you get inside, you'll find a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen, a 7-inch digital driver information display, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and push-button ignition. The Compass Sport also keeps you safe with standard driver assistance technologies, including but not limited to active lane management, drowsy driver detection, forward collision warning, blindspot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking.

Next in the Compass lineup is the Latitude trim, adding more premium features both inside and out. These features include premium cloth/vinyl upholstery, a leather-wrapped shift knob, automatic high beams, steering-responsive LED fog lights, and Keyless Enter n' Go passive entry. Available for the Compass Latitude is Jeep's Cold Weather Group, which adds a windshield wiper de-icer, heated front seats, remote engine start, and heated front seats. Meanwhile, the Latitude LUX adds the Cold Weather Group as standard equipment along with rear park assist, 18-inch alloy wheels, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and rain-sensing wipers.

The Jeep Compass Limited is instantly recognizable because of its Gloss Black roof, giving the Compass a two-tone exterior appearance. The exterior of the Limited trim also features side mirror-integrated turn signals, windshield wiper de-icer, rain-sensing wipers, a Gloss Black fascia insert, 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, and a Gloss Black grille with chrome rings. Inside, you'll enjoy premium amenities like dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, leather-trimmed seating, and more. Meanwhile, adaptive cruise control is added to the safety suite of the Compass Limited.

Topping off the 2023 Jeep Compass lineup is the Trail Rated Trailhawk. The only Compass model to earn Jeep's Trail Rated badge, the Trailhawk comes with exclusive features to conquer rugged terrain. The first exclusive feature is Active Drive Low 4x4, which adds a 4-Low mode to be used for low-speed off-roading. The Active Drive Low transfer case is engineered to provide greater torque at low speed to keep the wheels moving over trail obstacles. Other features for the Trailhawk include two front red tow hooks, one rear red tow hook, a black and red anti-glare hood decal, all-terrain tires, high-strength steel underbody skid plates, an off-road-tuned suspension, and a one-inch factory lift for 8.8 inches of ground clearance.
