THE WORLD'S ONLY ELECTRIC MUSCLE CAR

Powered By Lithium Ion

The Charger Daytona 100.5 kWh high-voltage battery was designed from the inside out to support one thing-performance. To achieve optimal performance, the best materials are necessary. That's why the Charger Daytona lithium-ion based battery features a high energy density nickel cobalt aluminum chemistry, which is packaged into prismatic cell structures and distributed across 13 in-series modules. The result-this high-voltage battery delivers a blistering initial peak of 550 kW of power and sustains over 500 kW of power to the electric motors for a full 1/4 mile.

Still The World's Most Powerful Muscle Car

This next generation is set to deliver more thrills that surpass legendary V8 performance. With 670 horsepower, the Charger Daytona Scat Pack is expected to target 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and target a 1/4 mile in 11.5 seconds.

The World's First Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust

The patent-pending Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust elevates the Charger Daytona experience and embodies Dodge's legacy of raw power and adrenaline-pumping performance. With a soon to be iconic roar as commanding as a supercharged V8, the Fratzonic exhaust will deliver the feedback you expect to hear when driving a Dodge.

R-Wing

The front exterior of the all-electric Charger Daytona is defined by the patent-pending R-Wing aero pass-through. This unique front opening helps minimize drag and maximize performance at top speeds. The R-Wing is named in honor of a well-known rocket scientist turned aero engineer who has gone down in history for his efforts on making race cars as aerodynamic as rockets.

Exterior and Interior Design of the 2024 Dodge Charger

The 2024 Dodge Charger offers a seamless blend of timeless Dodge muscle car design and ultra-modern features that launch the brand into the future. Overall, the shape of the Charger is completely changed from the previous generation, creating a more modern, aerodynamic and streamlined appearance. Exclusive to the Dodge Charger Daytona is a patent pending R-Wing at the front end, nodding at the R-Wing found on the original 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona's rear end, which was the first production car to hit 200 MPH. The modern R-Wing has three purposes: to boast Dodge's muscle car style and honor its heritage, increase downforce, and optimize front aerodynamics. Another way that the 2024 Dodge Charger honors the brand's former models is with the Fratzog logo, which was featured on Dodge models between 1962 and 1976. The triangular emblem is illuminated with LED lighting on both the front and rear fascias (white in front and red in the rear), and it is also found on the wheel center caps and on the steering wheel. The interior of the Dodge Charger became known for a driver-focused, cockpit-like design, with the center stack tilted slightly left to face the driver. Atop the center stack is a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen with five user profiles and the latest in automotive technology. Behind the race-inspired flat top and bottom steering wheel, you'll find a standard 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster. Looking down at the center console, you'll find a modern iteration of Dodge's classic 'pistol grip' shifter.

All-Electric Powertrain of the 2024 Charger Daytona

In a bold move from America's muscle car brand, the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona has taken the title of the world's first and only all-electric muscle car. The all-new Charger Daytona features a pair of electric drive modules, one on each axle providing 335 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque, unlocking the potential for a maximum power output of up to 670 horsepower! The EDMs have a three-in-one design featuring an electric motor, gearing, and inverter in one compact unit. The electrified power of the new Charger Daytona offers a 0-60 time of just 3.3 seconds and can cover a quarter mile in just over 11 seconds!  By using an EDM on each axle, the Charger Daytona offers full-time all-wheel drive. However, when road conditions are ideal, the car will automatically disengage the front wheels, running in rear-wheel drive when maximum traction isn't required. When the rear wheels begin to slip, the system will detect the slippage and reengage the front EDM to regain traction. To enhance traction on the track or in bad weather, a rear electronic limited-slip differential accompanies the rear EDM.

Will There Be Another Gas-Powered Dodge Charger?

Though technically set for the 2025 model year, Dodge introduced the next-generation gas-powered Dodge Charger, the 2025 Dodge Charger SixPack, alongside the Charger Daytona. The all-new Charger SixPack is the first model to come with Dodge's new Hurricane engine. The new Hurricane engine is set to replace the discontinued 5.7L and 6.4L V8 engines from the previous generation with greater fuel efficiency and more power. This is done by using a three-liter twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine. By using two fewer cylinders and adding forced air induction, the Hurricane engine delivers V8-like performance with fewer emissions and better fuel economy. While the previous generation's R/T trim delivered 375 horsepower, the standard output Hurricane engine replaces it with 420 horsepower. Meanwhile, the Charger SixPack is eligible for a high-output variant, which replaces the 485 6.4L V8 under the hood of the previous generation's Scat Pack trim with a whopping 550 horsepower! The output variants of the 2024 Charger Daytona and 2025 Charger SixPack both determine the body style you get. For example, the standard output SixPack engine comes with a four-door sedan body, while the high-output models emulate muscle car design with two doors.
