Powering the 2024 Jeep Gladiator is the Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine that Jeep has relied on since 2011. The Pentastar engine affords Gladiator drivers 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This supplies the Gladiator with the power to provide a best-in-class payload capacity of up to 1,725 pounds and an unsurpassed-in-class gas-powered towing capacity of up to 7,700 pounds. As standard equipment, the Pentastar engine comes linked to a six-speed manual transmission for optimal performance and control. Meanwhile, an eight-speed automatic transmission is optional. The Gladiator's superior capability comes from Jeep's Command-Trac part-time 4x4 system, which offers superior control and handling even in harsh conditions. Meanwhile, the Rubicon trim comes with Rock-Trac 4x4, which offers a 4:1 low-range gear ratio, enhancing traction on steep, rocky terrain by increasing the torque output at low speeds.

Jeep Adventure Guide's follow mode gives you access to information pertaining to where you are on the trail. The touchscreen itself is equipped with full-array local dimming backlight technology. This offers better visibility compared to traditional touchscreens with edge lighting, especially when the Gladiator's top and doors are removed. 

The Rubicon and Mojave trim levels are undoubtedly the most capable trims in the Gladiator lineup. While the Rubicon is designed for steep, uneven terrain, the Mojave is most at home on loose gravel and coarse sand. The 2024 model year introduces 'X' models for both the Rubicon and Mojave. The 'X' takes these trim levels to the next level with both interior and exterior upgrades to enhance the driving experience no matter where your adventures take you. Outside, the Rubicon X and Mojave X gain steel rock rails, a new high-strength steel rear bumper, a winch-capable high-strength steel front bumper, an optional factory-installed Warn winch, and an optional forward-facing off-road camera. Meanwhile, the cabin is updated with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, leather-trimmed upholstery, new 12-way power-adjustable front seats, TomTom navigation, and Alpine premium audio with nine speakers.
