2022 Wagoneer Power & Handling
Both Wagoneer trim levels come with the renowned 5.7L V8 engine with eTorque mild-hybrid technology. eTorque uses a 48-volt electric generator to provide maximum power and fuel efficiency by using fuel shutoff during deceleration, engine start/stop while idling, and cylinder deactivation. Additionally, eTorque offers up to 130 ft-lb of torque instantly. The V8 engine offers 375 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque and provides a best-in-class towing capacity of up to 10,000 pounds. The V8 engine is paired with the sturdy TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission powering the rear wheels. However, three highly-capable drivetrains are available for the Wagoneer. Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II, with a rear electronic limited-slip differential. All three systems offer full-time 4x4 power while operating slightly differently to provide optimal traction for drivers from all walks of life. In addition, all Wagoneer's equipped with 4x4 feature Selec-Terrain Traction management with Auto, Rock, Sand/Mud, Snow, and Sport selectable drive modes.

The 2022 Chevy Suburban features a 5.3L V8 engine under the hood that provides drivers with 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The 6.2L V8 engine is standard on the High Country trim while optional on the RST, Z71, and Premier. This engine doesn't disappoint with 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the 3.0L TurboDiesel I-6 pumps out 277 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. All three Suburban engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels. However, four-wheel drive is available to all trim levels while standard on the Z71 trim.

Available features include a 10.25-inch interactive passenger touchscreen, McIntosh Labs premium audio, 22-inch alloy wheels, power-retractable side-steps, and an in-vehicle locking safe.

The 2022 Chevy Suburban is even bigger than its sibling, the Tahoe. The front end is similar to the Silverado, with a chrome grille and narrow rectangular headlights. The side profile of the Suburban seems to just keep going, giving it a long, boxy shape without many styling elements. Standard exterior features include roof rails, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED exterior lighting, and a proximity key for the doors and ignition. Upon stepping inside, you'll find cloth upholstery with standard seating for nine, with a three-seat front bench, while customers can order it with two front seats.
